Pricing & FAQ

Pricing and Care Options:

Ideal Health MD is a cash-pay medical practice. We do not bill insurance. Patients may choose between:

Membership Care

Best Value. Your care plan is individualized based on your goals and medical needs. As care needs decrease, visit frequency decreases — and monthly cost decreases.
*A one-time non-refundable $49 registration fee is due at the time of enrollment

Active Care Membership  $149/month

  • Visit frequency: Monthly
  • Best for patients who are new to the practice, starting treatment, or actively adjusting medications or care plans.

Maintenance Phase 1   $84/month

  • Visit frequency: Every 3 months
  • Best for patients who are stable on their current plan and no longer need monthly visits.
Typical transition criteria:
  • Stable on current plan for ~8-12 weeks
  • No frequent side effects or urgent concerns

Maintenance Phase 2   $66/month

  • Visit frequency: Every 6 months
  • Best for patients on a long-term, stable plan who need periodic check-ins
Typical transition criteria:
  • Stable on current plan for ~6 months
  • No recent dose changes
* Small, occasional medication adjustments may be managed within a maintenance tier at the provider’s discretion. If a patient stops medication and restarts, requires re-titration, switches medications, or needs multiple adjustments, they may temporarily return to Active Care (monthly visits) until stability is re-established.

Membership Care Includes:

  • Scheduled follow-up visits based on your care tier
  • Medication management and refills without requiring a visit each time
  • Lab review and treatment adjustments included
  • Secure messaging access with your physician between visits
  • Priority scheduling with same day or next day availability

Non-Member/Fee-for-Service Care

This option is for patients who prefer pay-per-visit care and do not want a monthly membership. This option is cash pay and we do not bill insurance.

  • Prescription refills and medication changes are addressed during scheduled visits only

What Non-Member Care Does Not Include

  • Messaging or access between visits

FAQ's

Frequently Asked Questions

If you anticipate ongoing follow-ups, medication adjustments, refills, lab monitoring, or questions between visits, membership care is usually the better value. Fee-for-service works best for occasional or one-time visits.

Yes. Current members may switch to non-member care at any time. Non-member patients may enroll in membership at any time if they want more ongoing support.

Medication changes require clinical evaluation and monitoring. In the fee-for-service model, dose changes and refills are handled during scheduled visits to ensure safe and appropriate care.

Membership pricing reflects how often visits are needed and the level of ongoing support required. As care becomes more stable and visits are spaced out, the monthly cost decreases.

No. Ideal Health MD is a cash-pay practice. We do not bill insurance. HSA/FSA funds may be used if eligible.

Small adjustments may be handled within your current tier. If treatment needs become more active (for example, restarting medication or needing re-titration), you may temporarily return to monthly visits until stable again.

No, we are not a primary care clinic and do not take the place of your primary care physician or your gynecologist. However, we are happy to work along with your PCP, gynecologist, and other specialists to help coordinate your care.

Anti-obesity medications are prescribed and managed as clinically appropriate. We try to get the medications covered through your insurance but are not able to guarantee that they will be covered. Fortunately, most anti-obesity medications now have generic alternatives making them more affordable.

Our membership includes monthly visits with a board certified physician who specializes in Obesity and Menopause, nutrition and exercise counseling, behavioral therapy, weight loss medications, hormone and non-hormone treatments, direct access to your doctor through secured messaging and more.

Yes. Once you cancel, your membership will end 30 days after your last payment.
